After consecutive wins over ranked opponents, the Ohio State Buckeyes head into this week’s game against the Indiana Hoosiers on a roll and guarding against a letdown.
Nothing has gone right for Indiana this season, as its lone victory came way back in mid-September over a non-FBS opponent. The Hoosiers carry a 1-8 record and a six-game losing streak into this affair, and Kevin Wilson certainly hoped for better results in his first season as head coach of the program. Last weekend's Homecoming game resulted in a 59-38 loss to Northwestern, the fourth consecutive game in which Indiana yielded at least 41 points.
As for the Buckeyes, they enter this weekend's tilt riding a high, as they managed to knock off a strong Wisconsin team last weekend by a 33-29 final. Ohio State, which is now 5-3 overall, is also under the guidance of a first- year head coach in Luke Fickell. Just one more victory is needed by the Buckeyes to earn bowl eligibility, and the fans fully expect that win to come at home this weekend.
