It's been a long week for Iowa, coming off of a loss against one of the worst teams in the FBS, lowly Minnesota. But the Hawkeyes appear to be trying to make up for it this week, and enter halftime leading ranked Michigan 17-6.
Iowa's James Vandenberg is 9-of-12 for 114 yards and a touchdown passing, while Marcus Coker has chipped in 74 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Denard Robinson has been less successful for Michigan, completing six of his 13 passing attempts for 64 yards, a touchdown and an interception. (Michigan missed the extra point.) He's rushed for just 10 yards, though his longest run went for 19. Fitzgerald Toussaint has 46 yards on nine carries to lead the Wolverines on the ground.
Of course, Iowa led Minnesota 21-10 in the fourth quarter before losing that one. So don't give up on Michigan in this one just yet.
