After the courtroom battles that have bloomed over the last week, West Virginia is taking its case against the Big East to the football field in a game against Louisville. At the half, the verdict is still out -- the Cardinals and the Mountaineers have fought to a 21-21 tie.
West Virginia's Geno Smith is 16-of-23 for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Dustin Garrison and Shawne Alston have 24 and 20 yards rushing, respectively. Alston has the Mountaineers' lone touchdown on the ground.
For Louisville, Teddy Bridgewater is having a great game -- 12-of-13 passing for 149 yards and a touchdown -- and both Senorise Perry and Jeremy Wright have tacked on rushing touchdowns. Dominique Brown has 63 yards on five carries to lead the Cardinals.
