The Minnesota Golden Gophers had a chance to make it two straight upsets, but the Michigan St. Spartans held on to win, 31-24. MarQueis Gray kept pace with Kirk Cousins, throwing for a yard more and rushing for -- well -- 83 more, but also threw two interceptions.
Not a whole lot of pride for Sparty in walking away, but it still counts in the standings, and at least the Gopher menace has finally been curbed. The Spartans get the Iowa Hawkeyes next, who just upset the Michigan Wolverines in a controversial finish.
Da'Jon McKnight gets the game ball after bringing in 174 of Gray's passing yards and catching all three of his touchdowns.
