Oklahoma Vs. Texas A&M Halftime Score: Aggies Wisely Avoid Halftime Lead

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Oklahoma Sooners looked set to pile up a significant first half margin against the Texas A&M Aggies, scoring three straight times to make it 13-3. But a 79-yard flash by Ryan Swope made it a three-point game, and A&M had a chance to push within field goal distance in the final minute.

Game on in Norman! Might be a good thing A&M didn't secure a halftime lead, since we all know what happens when they do that.

Neither team has gotten much going offensively, which is an interesting sign since both teams are known for getting a lot going offensively and then not doing a whole lot else. Only 388 total yards so far, with 136 of those coming on two plays. The Big 12 is evidently getting a head start on LSU-Alabama.
