Jordan Jefferson has remained in the game as the LSU Tigers quarterback ever since Jarrett Lee threw his first interception in weeks. It's made for a more diverse attack against the Alabama Crimson Tide, adding a number of short-distance trickeries to LSU's stable. But they haven't forsaken the deep stuff, Lee's specialty.

Jefferson hit Russell Shepard for a 29-yard gain over the middle that Verne Lundquist mistakenly called an interception. It was a curious moment.
In scoring position with seconds to go, Jefferson barely missed Rueben Randle before a Dre Kirkpatrick interference call moved the Tigers to the one.
