We're a minute into the third quarter at the Rose Bowl. UCLA is facing No. 19 Arizona State. The Bruins, if you'll recall, have been terrible this year, but do seem to be rebounding. But tell me you predicted a 23-14 score in favor of UCLA. Now stop lying.
UCLA headed into the half with a two-point lead, 16-14, then immediately went for the throat in the third quarter. Kevin Prince threw a strike to Nelson Rosario for 76 yards and the score, and suddenly that two-point lead is a nine-point advantage.
Prince has thrown just eight times, completing five for 124 yards and a touchdown. He also leads the team in rushing with eight carries for 45 yards. Derrick Coleman and Johnathan Franklin each have touchdown runs for the Bruins.
Brock Osweiler is 11-of-18 for 148 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Marshall is over 100 yards, rushing for 117 and a touchdown thus far. A.J. Pickens caught the Sun Devils' only touchdown pass of the game.
