Oklahoma State and Kansas State may be playing just the third-billed game of a jam-packed Saturday night, but the Cowboys and Wildcats are putting on a show in Stillwater. Oklahoma State leads, 27-24, at the half, but only after conceding 24 straight points and coming back.
After racing out to a 14-0 lead, the Cowboys allowed Kansas State to score twice on offense in the first quarter, on a field goal and an Angelo Pease run, and then gave up another offensive score and a defensive touchdown in the first five minutes of the second quarter.
But Brandon Weeden, who has thrown for 248 yards and two touchdowns, helped the Cowboys strike back, piloting them on two long field goal drives and converting a possession that started on Kansas State's 5 to six points in one play.
The Wildcats' dual-threat quarterback, Collin Klein, has 104 passing yards and a rushing touchdown.
