The Alabama Crimson Tide got the ball first to start off The Overtime Of The Century against the LSU Tigers. With LSU's best weapon -- punter Brad Wing -- neutralized by the overtime format, Bama figured to have the advantage in the 6-6 tie. But special teams would still prove critical.

An A.J. McCarron incompletion and a five-yard penalty handed a portion of that edge right back. McCarron had a wide-open Trent Richardson (he's been wide open all night, for some reason -- it's like once he crosses the line of scrimmage, he disappears) along the sideline, but just overthrew him.
Sam Montgomery followed up with a sack, putting the Tide in tough field goal position. Especially considering they'd missed two already.
Cade Foster came out to attempt the 52-yarder, missing to the left.
