LSU Vs. Alabama Final Score: Tigers Take Tuscaloosa In Overtime Classic

Stay connected with SB Nation

The LSU Tigers appeared to win the game against the Alabama Crimson Tide in the first round of overtime, but Michael Ford stepped out of bounds by INCHES while streaking into the end zone. Boy that was close! The game remained 6-6, but the Tigers had a first down inside the 10.

For live Alabama-LSU score updates and conversation, head right here.

Kenny Hilliard tumbled with the ball into the line of scrimmage on first down. Spencer Ware did about the same on second. On third down, Les Miles sent out Drew Alleman. The reasoning, of course, is that a bad snap need not end the possession.

From 25 yards out, Alleman was iced by Nick Saban. Then, from 25 yards out, Alleman fired it through to make it 9-6 and ensure the Tigers will remain the No. 1 team in the country.
