Army-Navy Game 2011: TV Schedule, Game Time And More

The annual Army Vs. Navy game will be played in FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland this year, the home of the Washington Redskins. It's the final game in a disappointing seasons for both military academies. The Army Black Knights will be looking to snap a nine game losing streak to the Navy Midshipmen. Army hasn't beaten the Mids since their 26-17 win over a winless Navy team in 2001 in Philadelphia. Despite their 3-8 record, Army leads the country in rushing offense, averaging 350.9 yards per game on the ground with their triple option offense. Army's offense, led by Raymond Maples, will look to snap their streak against a vulnerable Navy team.

The Midshipmen on the other hand failed to become bowl eligible this season, after going on a six game losing streak mid-season, including losing four games by three points or less. Led by senior quarterback Kriss Proctor, Navy will meet Army's triple option of their own, ranking 4th in the country running the ball averaging 313.7 rushing yards per game. Without being able to qualify for a bowl game, seniors Proctor and fullback Alexander Teich won't want to be part of the class that let the winning streak over Army be snapped.
