Stetzon Bair, a huge defensive tackle out of Iowa Western Community College, has committed to the Oregon Ducks, according to Justin Hopkins:
Bair is 6'9" and 260 pounds. Out of high school in Idaho, Bair committed to Idaho State. He took his Mormon mission, enrolled at Iowa Western, gained 30 pounds, and picked up offers from Oregon and Utah.
Bair has a long frame and looks like a basketball player. He'd probably struggle as a traditional defensive tackle, but Oregon runs a lot of 3-man fronts in which it asks its defensive ends to play in a four or five-technique alignment. I suspect this is how Oregon will use Bair early in his career. He needs to add weight, but his highlight tape shows him using his long arms effectively and staying relatively low for someone so tall. Bair also demonstrates a good motor in his highlight film.
