Stefon Diggs, one of the top wide receivers in the country out of Olney, Maryland's Good Counsel is unsure if he'll be able to take a visit to see the Florida Gators:
This is potentially big news, because many insiders believed that UF led for Diggs' services before the departure of Charlie Weis.
He holds legitimate offers from just about every program in the country, and took the time to visit many of them. In the end, Diggs came down to Auburn, Florida, California, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, USC and Virginia.
At 6'0" and 185 pounds, Diggs has great speed and surprising toughness in tight spaces. I like him better at receiver than running back because he's more fast than quick. Diggs could be deadly on the deep routes. Diggs lacks polish and must do a better job being consistent and catching the football, but you just can't teach this speed at this size.
Diggs should be an immediate contributor for whichever team he chooses. Look for him to return kicks and punts as well.
