Dec 13, 2011 - Denico Autry, the top JUCO defensive end in the country, has committed to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, per Steve Robertson. The 6'5", 255-pound Autry stars for East Mississippi Community College.
He claims offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami (FL), Mississippi State, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. Basically, he has the offers you'd expect the top JUCO player in the country to have.
Autry has a great first step and is more of a pass rusher than a run stopper at this point in his career. He's a special player.
Mississippi State has made a living off defensive linemen from the in-state junior colleges, and Autry is just another in a long line. Miss State has quite the defensive line class this cycle, including Quay Evans, who committed recently.
