The Ohio Bobcats and the Utah State Aggies are set to square off in the bowl game with the best name, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Unfortunately, neither team has a history of success in bowl games, both teams are a combined 1-11 in bowl games. For the Aggies, it will be their first bowl game since the 1997 Humanitarian Bowl. "I have tremendous respect for coach Frank Solich as a head coach and his program," Aggies head coach Gary Andersen said. "They are very well-coached, and we will be facing a big, fast, physical football team."
The Bobcats will be looking to stop the Utah State speed rushing attack that averages 277.5 rushing yards per game and features Rober Turbin, who averages 118.0 yards per game. Ohio's offense however is nothing to gloss over, being held to under 400 yards of total offense only once this season. Led by quarterback Tyler Tettleton, the Bobcats have put up an average of over 450 yards of offense per game.
Game date, time: 5:30 pm ET, Saturday, December 17th
Location: Bronco Stadium, Boise, ID
TV channel: ESPN/ESPN3
