Wyoming may have had the dual trials of playing in the 2011 college football bowl season's first game and coming back from a 21-0 deficit to Temple before it in the first half of the 2011 New Mexico Bowl, but that didn't stop the Cowboys from doing exciting things.
First, Wyoming's Josh Doctson made a fantastic one-handed catch to get the Cowboys on the board despite what looks like at least a sprinkling of pass interference.
Then kicker Daniel Sullivan decided to one-up his skill position teammate by doing a tribute to The Who on the point after and doinking it off both goalposts, right then left, and in.
Who cares if Temple subsequently scored to extend its lead to 28-7 before halftime? For one shining moment, Wyoming had the two best and most entertaining plays of the 2011 bowl season back to back, and that sort of meaningless and futile exploit is exactly what bowl season is all about.
