Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin seems to have gotten the worst of a reported post-practice fight.

Word spread Saturday of a fight at Penn St. Nittany Lions practice between quarterback Matt McGloin and wide receiver Curtis Drake. It was described as something more than a shoving match, but not quite the kind of thing that would make national news.

But our own Ben Jones of Penn State blog Black Shoe Diaries reports McGloin took quite a bit of damage during the altercation, though it's not clear whether Drake was actually involved:

Ben Jones@Ben_Jones88 I can confirm that Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin was knocked out after practice today during a fight. More to come.

The Nittany Lions are practicing to play the Houston Cougars in the 2012 TicketCity Bowl.

McGloin hasn't technically been PSU's starter for most of the season, but he's played more (and more successfully) than any other Nittany Lions quarterback. We'll await more word on what went down in State College on Saturday.
