Whether it's by sheer bad luck or otherwise, concussions have had a way of finding Stanford Cardinal wide receiver Chris Owusu. The senior from California dealt with three in just over a year, including a shot against the Oregon St. Beavers that ended his regular season for good.
Stanford coach David Shaw said Friday night that the senior wide receiver will "probably not'' play in the Fiesta Bowl for the fourth-ranked Cardinal against No. 3 Oklahoma State on Jan. 2, adding, "it's not going to happen, it's not going to happen.''
Despite missing four games and parts of at least two others due to multiple incidents, Owusu finished second among all Stanford receivers in yards and second on the team in catches.
