We love MACtion here, and you should too. Nothing quite beats a mid-week MAC battle and we're almost always rewarded with the highest form of entertainment. The games may not be defensive struggles or the highest forms of execution, but boy are they exciting to watch.
Consider this a hearty endorsement of the final MACtion matchup of the year. The MAC Championship is underway on Friday night and there's no reason not to watch Ohio and Northern Illinois go at it. While the scoreboard operator hasn't needed to break out the Red Bull yet, it's still been fun to watch.
Among the highlights: An Ohio touchdown drive that first featured a reverse, followed by a reverse pass later. The latter went for the touchdown. Trick plays? The MAC has them.
There was also the moment below. LaVon Brazill slapped a guy. It wasn't a stiff-arm; it was a full-on slap.
Look closely. That's a slap to the helmet. And it's pretty great.
