Utah Utes offensive coordinator Norm Chow will be named the next head coach of the Hawai'i Warriors, the program confirmed in curious fashion by tweeting a link to the Star Advertiser's article on the subject. Still, a confirmation is a confirmation:

As the Star Advertiser's Ferd Lewis reports, a press conference could be called for Thursday after Chow emerged ahead of two other candidates.
Born in Honolulu, Chow played his college ball for the Utes before coaching at BYU. From there, he's mostly remained on the west coast, other than stints with N.C. State and the Tennessee Titans. He's been his team's offensive coordinator at every stop since 1996, including the 2003 and 2004 AP national championship USC Trojans teams.
