From FIU's university commercial (via), footage of a class about drinking alcohol:
While it's apparently not a credit course, this has all gotta be pretty good for recruiting.

The wine-tasting class can be taken for credit. I know a few people who’ve done it that way.

What's up with Florida Schools and alcohol related classes?
UCF has a beer tasting and a wine tasting class (HFT 4864 and HFT 4866C), and as I understand it FSU does too. Is this common at colleges now? Why wasn’t I aware of this when I was in school?

Maybe it's a Sun Belt thing.
North Texas offers a 4000-level class for Hospitality Management majors that’s open to anybody over 21 as an elective.
When I think of Texas A&M, I think of all the guys dressing like state troopers, all reciting "And on the third day, God created the Remington bolt-action rifle, so that Man could fight the dinosaurs. And the furkin' tsippers."
