The Pac-12 and Big Ten have struck a scheduling agreement beginning in 2017, according to a report.

Dec 28, 2011 - On a day when the biggest college football story so far is the release of 2012 SEC schedules, the next two power conferences made a little scheduling noise of their own. The two traditional Rose Bowl conferences, the Big Ten and the Pac-12, are making a move to further tie themselves together, as Pete Thamel reports:
@PeteThamelNYT BREAKING: Pac-12 and Big Ten enter scheduling agreement. All 12 teams playing an inter-league football game starting 2017.
It's a long time away, so we'll have plenty of time to speculate on what this might look like. It could be some sort of 12-year rotating system, or perhaps only last for a couple seasons.
Plenty of interesting matchups that can be fashioned from the two conferences, especially once Texas Tech joins the Pac-12 and Rutgers joins the Big Ten. Is that still happening? No?
Assuming the SEC will respond by just making a formal to-do of what's basically a similar partnership with the SoCon.

You mean beside the fact that the PAC-12 is a I-A conference and SoCon is I-A?
Pac-12 is 2-0 vs. So.Con. all time

My point was that the statement:
wasn’t an equitable announcement. The B1G/Pac announcement was major whereas an SEC announcement of this type would basically be “Hey y’all. Been kicking SoCon tail for years. Going to keep doing it.”

2 Samples...
Are never statistically significant. You need at least 3. If you want to get published, come back after they’re 6 and 0.
But, a hint from a former Big 12 guy: Pick Colorado’s opponent carefully!
