Texas A&M and Northwestern both plan to honor Joe Villavisencio in the Meineke Car Care Bowl, which is set to be played less than a week after his passing. Villavisencio, a 22-year-old offensive lineman for Texas A&M, was killed in a tragic accident an hour north of College Station when he swerved to avoid debris in the road, striking a semi head-on.
The Aggies will wear black and white helmet decals and Danny Baker, a fellow offensive lineman and friend, will wear Villavisencio's number.

Additionally, Northwestern will join in the tribute, wearing the same helmet stickers as the Aggies.
A&M interim coach Tim DeRuyter said Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald told him the Wildcats would also wear the 'Joey V' stickers.
