Champs Sports Bowl 2011 Halftime Score: Echoes Feeling Drowsy

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lead the Florida St. Seminoles, 7-0, in the Champs Sports Bowl. I'm sorry that was written so dryly, but we all understand what we're working with here. 196 combined yards of total offense, 23 of them coming on one Kenny Shaw catch.

Head here for up-to-the-minute Champs Sports Bowl score updates.

After being pulled, Notre Dame's Tommy Rees returned to the field, and found Michael Floyd for what should've been a touchdown, but Floyd couldn't hang on. That may have been the most exciting moment after the nutty opening minutes.

FSU quarterback E.J. Manuel has no time to throw, as he's working behind an array of freshman linemen, and Notre Dame's quarterbacks keep getting benched for good reason.

Can't believe this game is Robert Griffin III's undercard.
