Florida State Vs. Notre Dame Score: FSU Offense Shows Up

Stay connected with SB Nation

It doesn't take much of an offensive surge to come back when you're only down by two touchdowns, but just a few minutes ago that sounded like an impossible task for the Florida St. Seminoles. An E.J. Manuel touchdown pass to Bert Reed on the side of the end zone, a Nigel Bradham interception, and a Manuel touchdown to Rashad Greene over the top, and now it's 15-14, Noles.

Head here for up-to-the-minute Champs Sports Bowl score updates.

A curious score, arrived at by two failed two-point conversions. Not TOO much offense, you see, but just enough to get the gears moving.

Despite taking a half-dozen sacks, Manuel has thrown for 186 yards and a pair of scores on 24 attempts. His pocket awareness has been suspect, but these things happen when facing a talented front seven with only freshmen in the way.
