Read More: Cincinnati Bearcats, Louisville Cardinals, West Virginia Mountaineers
The West Virginia Mountaineers should send the Cincinnati Bearcats some sort of Florida-themed Christmas cards. After Cincy downed the Connecticut Huskies, we have a three-way tie for the Big East championship. The conference's BCS bid will come down to Sunday night's BCS standings, which should favor the 'Eers.
Last week's standings saw WVU ranked No. 23 and the Bearcats and Louisville Cardinals unranked. Nothing happened this weekend that should hurdle either of those teams ahead of West Virginia. It's not 100 percent certain yet, but it appears very, very likely that the Mountaineers will advance to play either the Virginia Tech Hokies or Clemson Tigers. Winner gets to join the SEC! That's a joke from like August, 2011.
Game date, time: 8 p.m. ET, Jan. 4
Location: Miami, Florida
TV channel: ESPN
2010 winner and loser: Stanford, Virginia Tech
