The Kansas State Wildcats finished one of the more remarkable campaigns of the 2011 college football season in typical fashion: with a win in a nail-biter. Josh Hubert ran for the game-winning touchdown with just over three minutes to go, and the Wildcats' defense snagged a fumble on a fourth down attempt by Iowa State to preserve a 30-23 win.
Collin Klein threw for 158 yards and a touchdown in the win, and ran for another 86 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Iowa State's running game, headed by Jeff Woody and Duran Hollis, rolled up 219 yards on the ground.
Neither team led by more than seven points in the game, which featured three ties at 7-7, 20-20, and 23-23. The Wildcats' victory is their 10th on the season.
