Read More: Casey Pachall (QB - TCU), TCU Horned Frogs
TCU came into Week 14 with little to play for, having wrapped up a Mountain West title by beating Boise State earlier in the season and fallen far enough in most pollsters' estimation to be seemingly out of the BCS race. Now, after thumping UNLV 56-9, the Horned Frogs might yet go to a BCS bowl for the third straight year.
TCU running backs combined for six touchdowns on the ground, Casey Pachall threw for 183 yards in the win, and touchdowns on a kick return and an interception return over a 14-second stretch in the second quarter put the game way out of reach for the Rebels.
With TCU headed upward in the rankings and Houston no longer eligible for an automatic BCS bowl game berth after a loss in the Conference USA Championship Game, the Horned Frogs might yet play in one of college football's premier postseason games once again.
