Kellen Moore threw for over 300 yards before exiting stage left in the third quarter as the Boise State Broncos manhandled the New Mexico Lobos, 45-0. Moore's services were no longer needed with the Broncos up 38-0 midway through the third quarter as he rode off into the sunset in what was likely his last home game. But before he headed to the sidelines, Moore put on one more show, completing 28-of-33 passes for 313 yards.
Moore threw for three touchdowns, spreading the weather between three different receivers in the win. Doug Martin rushed for 110 yards and two touchdown, with Drew Wright adding another touchdown on the ground. Tyler Shoemaker, Gabe Linehan and Kyle Efaw each caught touchdown passes from Moore.
The win pushed Boise State's record to 11-1 on the year, and the Broncos may still have at a BCS bid. For now, Boise State awaits its fight, wondering what could have been.
