Texas A&M briefly trailed Northwestern in the 2011 Meineke Car Care Bowl. At halftime, with the score 20-7 in the Aggies' favor, that seems like a distant memory.
Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 195 yards and a touchdown, and run for another 10, with a 12-yard draw late in the half setting up a Randy Bullock field goal that snuck through to extend the Aggies' lead to 13 points.
Northwestern, which allowed 17 points in the second quarter, has some uphill climbing to do. Dan Persa has thrown for just 93 yards, and the Wildcats have converted just two of six third downs.
Texas A&M's established a trend of blowing every lead possible in the second half in the 2011 season, though, so it's probably completely premature to write off the Wildcats, who also have their fair share of comebacks under Pat Fitzgerald.
