The Virginia Cavaliers capped a 71-yard drive with the second scoring toss of the night from Michael Rocco to Kris Burd, and it was 14-7, UVa. Two straight Plainsmen personal fouls didn't help, but the way Virginia's moving the ball, you get the sense it might not have mattered all that much. Virginia had gained 151 yards to Auburn's 37.

Earlier, Auburn had a chance to borrow the momentum and calm the spirited Hooville end zone when Chris Davis picked up a Perry Jones fumble in UVA turf, but the resulting field goal sailed astray. Barrett Trotter took the helm for that drive, meaning AU's already displayed their entire quarterback three-deep.
But then! Onterio McCalebb took a busted play that actually should've just been a Virginia offsides penalty 60 yards, giving Auburn their first actual drive of the game (and their longest run of the season). With Kiehl Frazier and Trotter switching in and out, McCalebb scored on a nifty piece of high schoolery, and we're all tied up again.
