Dec 6, 2011 - Blake Jackson, the nation's top JUCO tight end, committed to the Oklahoma State Cowboys tonight. Out of Scottsdale Community College, Jackson held offers Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri, Miami, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tennessee, among others. His final choice came down to Oklahoma State and Georgia. It had been a nice day for the Bulldogs, but the Cowboys won out. Jackson visited Oklahoma State last weekend and witnessed the Cowboys stomp the Sooners first-hand.
And did they ever need it, as two Oklahoma State recruits decommitted last week, with one already committing to Texas and the other expected to choose the Longhorns as well.
Jackson is a physical freak. He still runs in the 4.6 range at 6'4" and 235 pounds, making him a tight end with receiver skills. It's scary to think about what Jackson could do for Mike Gundy in Oklahoma State's offense. He's considered a four-star prospect by most services.
