Wisconsin Vs Oregon, 2012 Rose Bowl: Ducks Dismiss Cliff Harris

2010 All-American cornerback Cliff Harris blew his final chance with the Oregon Ducks, with head coach Chip Kelly dismissing the 5-foot-11, 165-pound junior from the team on Monday for violating team rules.

Harris had been suspended indefinitely for repeated traffic violations, including a high-profile incident in June where an Oregon state trooper clocked Harris driving 118 miles per hour and detected the odor of marijuana from inside Harris' vehicle. The latest incident came on the day after Thanksgiving, when the Fresno Bee reports Harris was cited for possession of marijuana.

During his All-American season in 2010, Harris was tied for 11th in the nation with six interceptions as the Ducks ranked sixth in passing efficiency defense. No Ducks defender has more than three interceptions this season and Oregon's defense has tumbled to 34th in pass efficiency defense and 91st against the pass, allowing nearly 250  yards per game through the air.
