The NC State Wolfpack will take on the Louisville Cardinals in the 2011 Belk Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina. NC State looked like they would be dead in the water in the early parts of the 2011 season, after start 2-3 in the first five games. The Wolfpack were able to rally back a bit however and become bowl eligible.
NC State head coach Tom O'Brien is proud of his team and their ability to not give up on the season. "It speaks to the character of the kids," O'Brien said in press conference Tuesday in Charlotte. "If you go back to one of our famous basketball coaches whose mantra was to 'never, ever give up.' They kept hanging in there and kept firing away."
