Erique Florence, a four-star safety out of Valley, Alabama ranked third nationally at his position by Rivals, has announced his commitment to Auburn. The Valley High School standout had serious offers from over a dozen top programs, including Alabama, Arkansas, USC, Florida, and Stanford, and to hear him tell it, he lost some sleep trying to narrow the field:
"Last week was one of the toughest I've had," Florence said. "I'd go to bed at one o'clock in the morning and then get up early. It was long week. Parents and friends, and going to church, that's one of the main things to get a lot of stress off you."
It's comforting to know that at this stage of the college football recruiting process, top high school players are just as sick of it all as we are of hearing about it.
