If Washaun Ealey's suspension were a feature on the Sanford Stadium video board, you'd see him dodging lightning bolts in his MarioKart wheels under the heading, "INDEFINITELY IS NOW." Georgia's top running back will be reinstated today, per Mark Richt, following several weeks of doghouse time for an unspecified infraction (reportedly the skipping of a punishment run):
"I didn’t think he was handling his responsibilities as well as he should," Richt said Saturday night, referring to the Feb. 8 suspension. "When I felt like he was back on track, I was going to have him go back to doing what everybody else was doing."
The storyline now shifts, of course, to the as-yet unwaged battle between the erratic Ealey and hotshot freshman blue-chip Isaiah Crowell. Who'll be first on the depth chart when the Dawgs kick off next September against Boise State is anyone's guess.
Bulldogs spring practice kicks off a week from Thursday. For more on the team and for all your Georgia athletics news, visit SB Nation's Dawg Sports and SB Nation Atlanta.
