Like so many other ambitious dirty blondes, Lane Kiffin has started up an acting career in the bright lights of Hollywood. The coach is starring in a commercial for USC football season tickets, and while it's not the most exciting role the young talent could've landed since leaving a small Southeastern town for the fame and fortune of the West Coast, it's a start.
Via Dr. Saturday, who also provides 10 lines the actor really should've been asked to deliver:
On a serious note, Kiffin has an excellent resume as an actor -- browse Rocky Top Talk's archives if you don't believe me. Who could forget such hits as Making Sebastian Janikowski Kick A Field Goal From The Other End Zone, not to mention the entire riveting 2010 series of off-site, chess-by-mail interviews with fellow SEC football coaches, and so much more?
For more on Kiffin's acting exploits, visit Conquest Chronicles and SB Nation Los Angeles. And, yeah, probably Bruins Nation and Rocky Top Talk too.
