Boise State Slumber Parties Constitute Major NCAA Violation, Somehow

Stay connected with SB Nation

Another fun tidbit from Idaho Statesman, concerning the NCAA investigation into improper benefits at Boise State: Those between-term sleepovers arranged by coaches to facilitate players staying on campus for workouts constitute a major violation! Neato!

The NCAA defines two of them as secondary violations. The other 20 are, a result, considered major violations. The NCAA's definition of a major violation is "any violation that is not considered secondary." Some of the major violations are an accumulation of secondary violations.
