Donald Brown Domestic Battery Arrest Knocks 2010 Marshall Starter Off Team
Monday, the Marshall Thundering Herd announced the exit of former starting safety Donald Brown due to unspecified circumstances. Well, a "team rules violation," whatever that means. Later in the day, circumstances became clear. And unpleasant.
According to the Charleston Gazette's Doug Smock, Brown had been arrested for domestic battery. Good to know that's against team rules, right? And not just any old domestic battery -- a baby was allegedly involved:
The Fulmer Cup traditionally assesses bonus blame for the alleged striking of females, so the world is anxious to learn how many extra points are levied for allegedly punching an infant, even if on accident. Brown was booked into Western Regional Jail on Monday.
Brown started the 2010 season for Marshall before losing his spot during spring football.
