Though Lyles said he never explicitly steered players to Oregon, he revealed to Yahoo! a number of potential violations that arose from his role as a connector between the Oregon coaching staff and running backs Lache Seastrunk and LaMichael James. But Lyles apparently never said a word about those issues in his six-hour meeting with NCAA investigators earlier this year. Why? Lyles told Yahoo! the NCAA’s line of questioning never led him to do so.
