The news of Arkansas running back, and Heisman contender, Knile Davis' injury is not pleasing to anyone. It's never a good thing to see one of the premier college football talents in the country go down, and during a spring drill, no less. And understandably, the reaction to the news that Davis may have suffered a serious leg injury has been strong, with fans of the Razorbacks and others weighing in.
The worst probably comes from Barrett Sallee, who shared the following on Twitter.
According to some Arkansas people I just spoke with, Knile Davis' scream was "so loud it will haunt us in our dreams." (quote from source)
Dennis Johnson, a fellow Arkansas running back, added this somewhat cryptic tweet.
Deep thoughts about alot of things.... Never take anything for granted....
Ronnie Wingo Jr., another Arkansas back, went the more direct route with a three-letter tweet.
Smh...
And our own Spencer Hall summed up the situation quite well.
Little sick to my stomach at Knile Davis' injury. It happens, but that doesn't make it any better for anyone involved.
Again, nobody knows the extent of Davis' injury at this point, but it is reportedly serious. We'll be back with more as it becomes available in this StoryStream.
