Boston College's New Football Uniforms Complete With 'Stain Glassing'

BC Interruption has images of the many incarnations of Boston College's new football uniforms (remember when you only needed four players to show off the new duds? Now you need at least seven, unless you're Oregon and you need 427).

One thing to notice, aside from how much some of them resemble the San Francisco 49ers, is that weird stuff going on in the helmet stripe:

BC is referring to all of that nonsense as "stain glassing." Makes me want to grab some water paints and start coloring in the little shapes.
