Given the rumors flying about Texas A&M's reported interest in joining the SEC, this exchange between Texas A&M athletic director Bill Byrne and a fan tweeting from the @SEC_Chatter account may be of interest. First thing's first: @SEC_Chatter has been tweeting at pretty much any official or unofficial Texas A&M account known to man as a means of welcoming the school to the SEC. Byrne was one person who received a message, and decided to craft a response.

I guess that's one way to confirm the reports are legitimate. Of course, none of this matters until the SEC conducts its meeting on Sunday, so it may be a bit premature when it's all said and done.
