Ordinarily, the athletic director denial of a conference realignment rumor is a sure sign something is up. But we'll believe Notre Dame's when he shoots down Big 12 rumors, as much as you like the idea of the Big 12 turning into one colossal TV money swinger's party, where everybody has their own side hustles and plays like three or so conference games per year.
Texas playing Notre Dame every year in football, though? Consider it considered:
"I don't know if it would ever be an annual game, but we do want to play more games with Texas and play them in more sports," [Jack] Swarbrick said.
