Not that the broadcasting crew for ESPN would let you miss it, but in case you hadn't noticed, this Kellen Moore guy is pretty good. Moore's latest drive: 6-of-7 for 60 yards (of the 89 Boise gained) and a touchdown, this one on a throw to Kyle Efaw.
At this point, Moore is pretty much beating Toledo on his own. He's 25-of-31 for 358 yards and four touchdowns. Toledo's entire team has only gained 267 yards of total offense. And Moore's running game isn't exactly helping him, picking up just 25 yards on 21 carries, a paltry 1.2 yards per carry -- a number that's dwindled downward as the game's gone on.
Or maybe it's not fair to say Moore is doing this singlehandedly. After all, he has completed passes to nine different receivers tonight.
