Quarterback Kellen Moore tied a career-high with five touchdowns as the No. 4-ranked Boise St. Broncos blew out the Toledo Rockets 40-15 on Friday night.

The Heisman Trophy winner was on target throughout the night, completing 32-of-43 pass attempts for 455 yards with one interception the only blemish on another stellar performance. Three of Moore's touchdown passes were to senior wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker, including a 17-yard strike midway through the fourth quarter that was the final nail in the Rockets' coffin.

Running back Doug Martin was the other star offensively for the Broncos, leading the team with 19 carries for 60 yards and adding five receptions for a team-high 122 receiving yards, including a 71-yard touchdown catch late in the first quarter.

Toledo's sophomore quarterback Terrance Owens completed 17-of-31 for 195 yards and an interception as the Rockets faced their second Top 25 opponent in less than a week. Toledo lost 27-22 to the Ohio State Buckeyes last week in Columbus.

Next week, the Broncos (2-0) open up their home schedule against the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes, while Toledo (1-2) goes on the road to play the Syracuse Orange.
