Early season match-ups don't get much better than this. No. 5 Florida State will host No. 1 Oklahoma for the first time in school history with a heavy dose of revenge on its mind. Last year, the Sooners hosted the Seminoles and handed them a 30-point beatdown. The game proved to be a spring board for both teams, as the Sooners went on to win 12 games and finish No. 6 in the nation, while the Seminoles rallied to win 10 games, their most since 2003.
This year, the game's winner will probably have an inside track on the BCS title game. Neither team has yet to be tested, although they've both done about as well as possible in their three collective games. The two teams have combined for almost 150 points in those three games and have piled up more than 1,600 yards of total offense.
Quarterback EJ Manuel leads the Seminoles after passing for 581 yards and six touchdowns in two games. The Sooners will be led by Landry Jones, who is coming off a season opener in which he passed for 375 yards.
Game Date, Time: 8 PM ET, Saturday, Sept. 17
Location: Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee, Fla.
TV Channel: ABC
Spread: Oklahoma by 3 points
