Auburn Vs. Clemson Score: Auburn Takes 14-0 Lead Off Michael Dyer Run, Barrett Trotter Pass

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Auburn Tigers have taken a 14-0 lead over the Clemson Tigers on a 52-yard run from Michael Dyer and 26-yard touchdown pass from Barrett Trotter to Emory Blake. Auburn has already racked up 162 total yards of offense with 6:12 left in the first quarter. Meanwhile, Clemson's offense has sputtered, with just 34 total yards early on. Quarterback Tajh Boyd started the game 4-for-7 passing for just 29 yards.

Clemson entered the game favored by four against what looked like a vulnerable Auburn squad entering the game. Historically Auburn has dominated the series with a 33-11 all-time record and a 14-0 record since 1951. If Auburn can maintain their stranglehold defense, this game could deteriorate quickly for Clemson.
