It's always important to announce, before you start throwing up the "upset alert," that it's early. In fact, we're only in the first quarter between Louisana-Monroe and TCU. But early, things are not looking good for the home team.
ULM has gone toe-to-toe against TCU -- gaining 111 yards to the Horned Frogs' 127, with quarteback Kolton Browning going 8-of-9 for 57 yards and a touchdown. Robert Griffin III is apparently not the only one who can carve up the TCU defense, which could present huge problems for the Horned Frogs when they get into the meat of the Mountain West schedule. Brent Leonard was on the receiving end of a 21-yard touchdown throw from Browning.
Casey Pachall of TCU is 3-of-6 for 79 yards and a touchdown. But for the moment, a Justin Manton field goal is the difference.
