It's not over yet for Maryland. West Virginia at one point appeared to be walking away with its game against Maryland. Now, things are still in the Mountaineers favor, but they're getting a bit dicier.
West Virginia held a 34-10 lead early in the fourth quarter. Since then, the Terps have scored on a Davin Meggett 20-yard touchdown run, a D.J. Adams six-yard run and another D.J. Adams scoring run for two yards out. Suddenly, West Virginia was facing a three-point lead late and on the road.
Since then, the Mountaineers have connected on a field goal to give themselves a 37-31 lead, but there's still enough time left for Maryland to cause a few more coronaries in Morgantown. And maybe a celebration in College Park, to boot.
